petpass

Privacy-first pet ID

Private by default, useful when it matters.

A smart pet tag should help a lost pet get home without making the owner trade away privacy. PetPass keeps public profile details under owner control and gives finders a direct way to help without receiving the owner's personal contact information by default.

Owner-controlled profile fields

Publish the information that helps a finder care for your pet in the moment: name, photo, safe handling notes, and selected care details. Keep personal owner details out of the public profile.

Private finder relay

The relay lets owner and finder coordinate a reunion through PetPass. That protects both sides: owners do not have to publish a phone number, and finders can help without creating an account.

Access can end

Finder access is session based and can be closed or revoked. If a code is copied or a tag needs to be retired, owner/admin controls can shut down the old path.

Common questions

Is the pet profile public?

The profile can be public, but the fields are controlled. Owner contact details are not the default public experience.

Does privacy slow down the reunion?

No. The private relay keeps the interaction direct while limiting what personal data is exposed.
